I went with Jen to do some grocery shopping and then afterwards we went to Cleland Conservation park, which is a wildlife park for Australian animals. I got to feed a kangaroo and pet a koala :3 I was excited, it was so much fun haha. The weather was absolutely beautiful today and I was soooo hot in my long pants and shirt - summer clothes are soon coming out hehe. It was the best weather to go to the park in, and I enjoyed every second of it. The kangaroos were just wandering around the area with emus as well, and it was great fun. Talking about kangaroos.. I saw my first wild one yesterday night - it was huge! But it was dark so I only got a glimpse.
I took bunch of pictures with Jen's camera, since mine decided to take a vacation these days... but it was great.
I'll be staying in the hills for another day, and then go back to the city tomorrow with Mia. Hopefully we'll get the wifi running tomorrow down there - cross your fingers!
Other than that I don't really have much else to say. I'm a bit concerned that I may not get to see or do all the stuff that I would like to, just because I have no crazy tourist/exchange students with me that actually wants to go do all these things with me... So seriously come visit me so we can bike through the hills tasting vine at the local vineyards, take surfing lessons somewhere, or even dive with sharks? Anybody up for it? DO IT!
Oh and yesterday we went to eat dinner at some family friends and watch the second to last australian football game. Which I don't understand. Seems like a bunch of men running around getting a chance to beat each other up while trying to get a ball through two sticks haha. But it's entertaining!

ReplyDeleteI'll do my best, but I think I'm more scared of airport security than you ;-)
