DECEMBER MADNESS

Hi guys! Guess what? I'm not dead!

I've been doing so much since last time we spoke, and I'll try to make a few posts with everything today and tomorrow maybe. So last time I posted Fred was still here - we had another awesome week, went to the City and Colour concert, which was amazing! Fred went up to Cairns for the weekend, since I was working, and got some good experiences there as well. We also got to go to the beach for a few days and enjoyed the sun and Australian summer. It was quite awesome!

Then last tuesday Fred left to go to Sydney for a week. It was quite sad actually, as it always is when you've gotten used to spending time with someone all the time. I had work that day so it wasn't that bad, and also wednesday was the day Katja was finally going to arrive! So wednesday I did a few things that needed to be done before she got here, it was super hot so Beth, Tom and I went to the beach to have a swim before we were off to the airport to pick up Katja. As you probably would've guessed I cried like a maniac even before she came out (there was a girl who came out and had been away for 18 months, I couldn't stop myself haha). She came on the hottest day so far from -5 degrees - quite a change! But it was sooooo good seeing her again, how I've missed her so much!!!
Also she's amazing at not getting jet lagged. We went home, fell asleep and woke up at 11. NOTHING at all. Wish I could do that too haha.

I had work that thursday, but only for a few hours. Katja walked around for a bit on her own, and then came in to work, and we had dinner there, which was awesooome! :-) If you ever come to Adelaide come into The Elephant British Pub - great food, great drinks, good time! ;-)
Friday we went to the beach and spend the day there before work, and saturday we went shopping with Tanika and Lachy for our trip to Kangaroo Island - which I will tell you way more about in the next post!

So yeah, that was a busy week, lots to do, and nothing felt like Christmas at all. Katja finally arrived, something that have always felt like years away, and now time is just flying by!
